Health Ministry 2015

   Family & Health

Take Time To Pray - Read Your Bible  - Get Preventive Care!

What are the benefits of flu vaccination? Only God allows man to develop vaccines for the good of mankind. Vaccines have ended a number of epidemics and saved lives.

While how well the flu vaccine works can vary, there are a lot of reasons to get a flu vaccine each year. Everyone over the age of 6 months is recommended to get the flu vaccine.

Flu vaccination can keep you from getting sick from flu. Protecting yourself from flu also protects the people around you who are more vulnerable to serious flu illness.

Flu vaccination can help protect people who are at greater risk of getting seriously ill from flu, like older adults, people with chronic health conditions and young children (especially infants younger than 6 months old who are too young to get vaccinated).

Flu vaccination also may make your illness milder if you do get sick.

 Praising God Acts 2:47

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved [from spiritual death].  Heavenly Father, we give you thanks for the existence, perseverance, and impact of your Church & Shepherds, including the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Shepherd & all the congregation. We pray your blessing over Harvest Week 2015, may you be glorified mightily. Bless believers with godly love, compassion, and grace for sharing the love of Jesus in this world. Father, we ask for your hand to touch the hearts of family members, friends, neighbors, and community members for their soul salvation.
