Free Health Screening May 7th

In honor of Mother’s Day, the Cancer Services Program of Monroe County and Elizabeth Wende Breast Care is hosting a Day of Screening on May 7th.  Clinical breast exams and screening/baseline mammograms will be offered at no cost to any woman 35 years + who has not been screened in the past year. 

We are excited to increase breast health screenings in our community.

Clothes Closet!

Cleaning out your closet this spring? Consider donating your gently used professional clothing to the Career Services Professional Clothes Closet.

Many students don't have the time or budget to buy interview appropriate clothing, so this is a fun way to utilize gently used interview appropriate clothing donated by our community.

We are currently accepting professional attire for men and women in order to build our inventory for the Clothes Closet. We ask that the professional clothing donations be in presentable condition. Below are some examples of acceptable professional attire for the Clothes Closet.

Business Professional - Men's and women's suits - Skirts, Dresses - Men's and Women's Slacks & Pants - Blouses - Men's Dress Shirts - Dress shoes - pumps, flats, appropriate boots, men's leather lace-ups - Ties - Jewelry - Scarves

Condolences - Patricia Ann Isaac loss her son, Samuel Junior Scott, on May 8th. Viewing Services will be held at Mt. Olivet on Monday, May 16th at 11am and Funeral Services will be held immediately following at 12 pm.  Let's keep them in our prayers.

Condolences - Albert and Carol Blair lost their Aunt, Widdle Collins.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 16th at 12 pm in Augusta, GA.  Our prayers are with them and their family.

Volunteers Needed, Van Drivers - The Mount Olivet Van Ministry needs drivers. Help make an impact by volunteering to drive one Sunday a month. You need to be at least 21 years old and have a valid NY driver’s license. If you want to make a difference, please contact Ernest Hicks at 425-4088 or Norman Strothers at 732-4666.

Youth Participation, We Need You! - Parents and youth please consider getting involved in Mt. Arts & Crafts Ministry, Invitation - Join us! If you love to crochet and knit or want to learn how, join us on Wednesday, 12:00 noon to 2 PM each week in the Whitaker Hall. Bring your lunch! Thursday Tutoring Program, Mt. Olivet's ABW Ministries -

The American Baptist Women’s Ministry is pleased to announce the Tutoring Program. Sign up your children to participate! The focus will be on improving reading skills and completing homework. Tutoring is every Thursday from 6pm to 7:30pm. See you on Thursday!

AB Girls Ministries - There will be monthly meetings  on the fourth,4th, Sunday at the lower level of the church immediately following worship in the lower level of the church. Children's Academy - This meeting will meet occur 2nd and 4th Sunday!
