One of the goals is to bring awareness to the importance of taking care of your physical, mental and emotional health and well being.

Stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues can be evaluated & treated. Faith in God, prayer, praise and worship helps spiritual well being.

Van Drivers, Needed - The Mount Olivet Van Ministry needs drivers. Help make an impact by volunteering to drive one Sunday a month. adult Ushers, Needed - We are in need of adult ushers. If you are interested, willing and able to serve our congregation as an adult usher please contact any usher for more information. Your kind consideration in joining our ministry will be greatly appreciated.

GS4A Partners, Needed - The GS4A coalition is looking for partners in progress as we build on work begun at our November 2014 conference, and continued by six working groups formed to develop possible responses to the crisis of high poverty schools.

Youth With Musical Talent - Looking for youth who can play instruments for Youth Sunday. Please see Cheryl Lattimore or Juliette Rhodes-Cummings.

Youth Summer Trip, Your support is needed -Support the Youth's Summer Trip by participating in their Fish Fries or become an Angel Sponsor. 

Angel Sponsors need to stop by the youth table in Whitaker Hall after worship for more information on how you can help sponsor one or more youths.

Arts & Crafts Ministry, Invitation - Join us! If you love to crochet and knit or want to learn how, join us on Wednesday, 12:00 noon to 2 PM each week in the Whitaker Hall. Bring your lunch! We eat, work and fellowship. Our mission and outreach is to provide handmade lap blankets, prayer shawls, scarves and hats to various groups and individuals. Thursday Tutoring Program, Mt. Olivet's ABW Ministries -

The American Baptist Women’s Ministry is pleased to announce the Tutoring Program. Sign up your children to participate! The focus will be on improving reading skills and completing homework. Tutoring is every Thursday from 6pm to 7:30pm. See you on Thursday!

“Reach For The Stars”

Tutoring for students in grades 1 thru 5 are welcome to come and receive support in homework and improving reading skills on Thursday’s from 6PM—7:30PM, Lower Level. Please see Gayle Harrison or send email to wgharri@gmail.com  for any questions.

Free Workshops on Job Skills - The Monroe County Library System was awarded a grant that provides free workshops on job skills. The program is called, "Get Hired!" They are offering 63 classes at 18 different libraries starting Jan. 5th – June 30th. They are partnering with Rochester Works. The library is actively trying to give our community free access to information that will improve job skills and hopefully result in employment. Additional information is posted on the bulletin board outside the Old Sanctuary.

AB Girls Ministries - There will be monthly meetings  on the fourth,4th, Sunday at the lower level of the church immediately following worship in the lower level of the church. Young Ladies in grades 3 – 12 are asked to participate. Please see Latisha McCray – ABW of MOBC President.

Children's Academy - This meeting will meet occur 2nd and 4th Sunday! All children will be dismissed immediately following the morning Hymn.   All parents please stop by the Youth Ministry table in the fellowship hall to update contact information. We want to keep everyone informed of all the wonderful upcoming events.

Children's Church - Children’s Church will meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday!

Sunday School  - Why should I come to Sunday School and bring my children and grandchildren? ...because it is easier to build strong Christian children than it is to repair broken men and women.  Help build a better church…a better community…a better world.
