"Growing Our Youth in Christ"

The Youth 2015 Trip Experience

Our Personal Experiences

V My favorite thing was walking across the Shark Bridge.   Malik

V I liked the Tigers at the zoo and the pool party.  Marquita

V The Underground Railroad helped me to understand what our families had to go through.   Keyana

V I loved the zoo and swimming every night.   Marlon

V The church trip that we went on was very exciting.  We learned and had fun. My favorite was the active giraffes.   Josiah

V This trip was very educational and touched on our culture. I liked the Underground Railroad Freedom Center. The tour guide made us feel like we were back in the past with our ancestors.   Miles

V My favorite part of the trip was meeting new people (Jordyn, Star, Asia, Miles and some of their parents) and the Zoo. I had a lot of fun and I can't wait until next year".   Tristyn

V  Thank you for giving us the opportunity to attend the annual youth trip. We were so excited to travel on a bus for the first time on the road. The places that we visited were very nice. From the college to other  educational places.  My brother and I really had fun at the aquarium.  We got to touch fish, i.e. sharks, and we got to walk over a shark tank as well.  The hotel was very nice, we went swimming and watched TV.  At the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, We got to see Beyonce 's clothes to RunDMC's shoes.  We met new friends on the trip and new people from the church we sang.  Overall, it was a good experience.   Again, Thanks!
