Food Pantry Item of the Week - Pasta Sauce
Summer Worship Services hours June 2nd - Sept. 8th , 10am . The Food Pantry Ministry will be closed for the summer. The Last   Day   is June 24th and will reopen on September 9th.” Please continue to check the bulletin for the “item of the week.” Youth choir rehearsal will resume in September . Youth Academy will resume in October . We Need Teachers! Please consider helping our youth grow spiritually by teaching them about God’s Word. The 12th Annual Sankofa Theatre Festival - At 7:30   p.m.   August   28th   and   29th is Night of 10s, a medley of ten-minute comedic and dramatic plays highlighting aspects of the African American experience. And at 7:30   p.m. Aug.   30th   and   31st is "RED - That Other Color Girl." Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles, please consider bringing your child for a fun filled day at the fair. The cost is $50 per person which includes round trip train fare and your child’s all day ride pass. Payments are due upon registration but no later than August 11th. You can sign up and pay beginning TODAY after morning worship at the Youth Ministry table. Space is limited, so you need to act quickly!! Greater Harvest Church 5th Anniversary Celebration banquet will be held on Sunday, September 15th , 2019 at the Rochester Holiday Inn. Ticket prices are $60 per person. The cutoff date for purchase is August   30,   2019 . Limited tickets are available. All checks payable to Greater Harvest Church. Please see Marilyn in the office for tickets. Back to School Rally, Sunday Sept. 1st - As our young people go back to school, we want to support and motivate them. On Sunday, Sept. 1st make sure anyone returning to school at any level attend church especially on that day. We plan to have a Back to School rally just for them. M embers should wear a MOBC shirt , bring   pom-poms,   noise   makers   or   whatever   you   have   to make the occasion festive and fun for our young people. We want to show our support for this upcoming school year!!! The 6th Annual Multidisciplinary City Wide Breast Cancer Seminar will be Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Locust Hill Country Club, 5PM to 9:15PM. The seminar will continue to cover the Multidisciplinary approach to the care of the Breast Cancer patient, which includes; Radiation, Surgery, Oncology, Imaging, Positive mindset, Spirituality, Nutrition, Exercise, Obesity, and the Whole You! Drs. Ruby and Douglas Belton are co-founders. The cost for community church groups and other laypersons is $25. Cost for MDs and all other health care professionals is $50. Please see Dr. Mary K. We need people who can help in a variety of ways, i.e.: lifting, shopping, serving, record keeping, organizing, etc. If you are retired, or have time, the Pantry hours are Monday's, 9:00 AM - Noon .
