The Association for the Study of African American Life and History ( ASALH ) has announced that the theme for Black History Month 2021 is “The Black Family: Representation, Identity and Diversity” focusing on the historical impact and study of African American kinship. To Support the National Theme, Mt. Olivet takes the National Theme and expand it into something more meaningful, “The Black Family Reimagined.” The Black History Month Committee and the Youth Core Team will provide various Zoom meetings, workshops, activities and Community Events. Join us as we journey through “The Black Family Reimagined.” It will be a month of discovery, fun, and increased knowledge of “The Black Family” and its connectivity. Enjoy The Journey!
