John Lightfoote 2018 Congratulations   to   John   Lightfoot   for   his   induction   into   the   Pi   Alpha   Alpha   Honor Society   on   Friday,   May   4th.      Pi   Alpha   Alpha   is   the   Global   Honor   Society   for   Public Affairs    and    Administration.        It    is    limited    to    persons    who    demonstrate    Academic Achievement in NASPAA accredited schools with a 3.7 GPA or higher. 
Dr. Venessa Mitchell 2017 Congratulations to Dr. Venessa Mitchell who was recently awarded RIT’s President’s Isaac L. Jordan, Sr., Staff Pluralism Award for Significant Contributions to the Enhancement of Diversity and Pluralism at Rochester Institute of Technology.  A celebration was held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the RIT President’s house on Liberty Hill to honor all the awardees.

[23]   And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

[24]   Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Enaz Reed 2016 Congratulations to Enaz Reed who graduated from Wilson Magnet High School on Saturday, June 25th. He is International Baccalaureate, IB, certified graduating with an advanced regents diploma. The IB Program is a challenging curriculum that leads to a diploma recognized worldwide. Students engage in a rigorous course of study, learn to relate classroom experiences to the larger world, gain an international perspective, and develop responsible citizenship. The IB curriculum encourages critical analysis, research skills, and service as part of the learning process. Student performance is measured by assessments administered by both local teachers and international examiners. Graduates of the program are considered for enrollment at the world’s top universities and are eligible for up to a full-year’s worth of college credit.  In the fall, Enaz will be attending the University at Buffalo, majoring in Psychology. Congratulations from the family!  It truly takes a village.  The Mt. Olivet family is proud of his accomplishments and will keep him in our prayers. Julian Riley 2016 Julian Riley was selected by Mayor Lovely Warren as one of the finalist to be awarded the "Distinguished Gentleman” Award. He attended the Mayor’s Appointment, “Inspiring Success in Young Men - Red Carpet event on Saturday June 18, 2016.   He remains an inspiration to all of Mt. Olivet’s young men. Please join Julian’s family in congratulating Julian Riley!
